Giving Lives Meaning...

About Us

GHCO is a residential institution devoted to the care of orphans—children whose biological parents are deceased or otherwise unable or unwilling to care for them.
Biological parents, and sometimes biological grandparents, are legally responsible for supporting children, but in the absence of these, no named godparent, or other relatives willing to care for the children, they become a ward of the state, and orphanages are one way of providing for their care, housing and education.

  • The mission is to take care of the less privilege and the downtrodden, training them from early child care development to pre-nursery primary, secondary to the University Level.
  • The vision is giving lives a meaning, making them useful to themselves, to their communities and to the entire Nation and also develops them morally, physically and academically.

Why Us? Learn More About Our Story

GHCO has put countless smiles on the children's faces over the years. This is the motivation behind our progress.

  • 01 Non Child Adoption & Fostering

Adoption is an act of love. It must come from a desire to love a child. It must be motivated by our love for God and humanity. It must be because we want to raise a child for God as a demonstration of our love. Every child is a gift from God.

  • GHCO started our full operations in March 11th 2012 with 13 children and a Nanny who takes care of these children, but today we have 229 children with babies of 2 months old, and the home is given custody of these children through the UNICEF. We are duly registered with the THE UNITED KINGDOM COMMITTEE FOR UNICEF where we obtained our certificate for planning and budget.

  • GHCO was approved in 2012 by the UNICEF after all approvals by the UNIICEF body. A certificate was given before the commencement of operation.

About The Founder

OLGA KURYLENKO

OLGA KURYLENKO Kostyantynivna Kurylenko is an actress known for playing Bond girl Camille Montes in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
Born and raised in Ukraine, Kurylenko moved to France at age 16 to pursue a modelling career. She refocused on acting in 2004 and had her breakthrough role in the action-thriller film Hitman (2007). She has also starred in the romantic drama film To the Wonder (2012), the satirical crime comedy-drama film Seven Psychopaths (2012), the post-apocalyptic action-adventure film Oblivion (2013), the political satire black comedy film The Death of Stalin (2017), the adventure-comedy film The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (2018), the Netflix spy thriller miniseries Treason (2022) and the action thriller film Extraction 2 (2023).
In August OLGA KURYLENKO came to learn about the work of Hope and Homes for Children. They are based in London, and they are trying to place children from institutions into families. Not all of them are orphans. Some of them are children whose parents handed them over to the state because they couldn’t afford to keep them. The idea of Hope and Homes is to close the orphanages and to open family-based homes, with a maximum of 8-10 children, where the kids can grow up with families.
OLGA KURYLENKO visited a few orphanages and family-based homes and the difference was incredible. Some of the kids in orphanages couldn’t even speak. They were very shy and they were afraid of us. I asked one little boy to show me where he slept. All he had was a bed and a bedside table. I looked inside and there was almost nothing. There was a small bible and I said ‘Do you read this?’ and he said no, and then there was a little piece of paper with three coloured pencils and I said, ‘Do you draw?’ and he said he wasn’t really sure. There was nothing of his, nothing. Most of these children can’t read or write and don’t go to school, and no one checks, yet everyone believes they are well taken care of. Hope and Homes wanted me to see what the truth was and to spread the word. I have been giving interviews, that those homeless kids need adequate help that's why I created Grace Health Charity Foundation (GHCO).
